To promote Bali’s exports highlighting innovation, design and quality, combining traditional craftsmanship with a modern touch and international quality standard, the Bali Export Development Organization (BEDO) In collaboration with many long term Bali resident expatriate advisors, organizations and local designers & exporters is organizing a Bali Design Workshop to provide first hand information on innovation, creativity and market trends, with international acclaimed speakers.
The design workshop targets 150 participants on day one and will than be broken out in sector groups on day 2 and 3.
General Topics Workshop 1 (One) Day: 10 July 2007 – 9.00am – 6.00pm @ Sahid Raya Kuta Hotel.

Following the design workshop will be the Bali Design Awards with the theme “Green Design”, environmental friendly, recycled, sustainable product design. The registration will be open to public from the 15th of July with a deadline for final concept drawing and product mock up by the 15th of October 2007. An international jury will than announce the winners and runners up of both categories Home Décor/Furniture and Fashion/Jewelry during the “Made in Bali Expo”.
